President Donald Trump has changed the date of implementation of trucks.
On Monday, the president said he plans to install 25 % of tariffs on heavy and medium trucks and will be from any social post from November 1 to November 1.
Trump said earlier that the taxes will begin in the early days of October with the duties of furniture and branded pharmaceutical products.
Furniture tariffs, as well as wood and wood, are expected to be implemented on October 14 on the order signed last week. There is still no formal documentation for pharmaceutical tariffs and trucks.
Two truck tariffs do not appear to be separate taxes, but the White House Press Office immediately did not return the message seeking comment.
The announcement on Monday creates a new timeline for heavy and medium trucks. In April, the White House opened a 232 section of the import of these vehicles. Similar studies have already taken tariff measures on goods, including steel and car parts.
Trump did not provide other details on Monday, including whether new duties are on top of previously approved taxes or how tariffs with business partners such as the European Union and Japan may be affected.
