
Hapag-Lloyd has announced that the Caribbean Express Caribbean Express (CES) service (CES) will be cut off at the beginning of next year “due to current market conditions”.
The service, where the Maersk line is a gap charter and is marketed as the TA5 string, deploys seven ships with an average capacity of 2700 TEU, according to the Xeneta Liner EESEA database.
The service currently has a port rotation from Antwerp-Felixstow-Hamburg-Ramburg-Ramburg-Atwerp-St John-PHILADELPHIA-Port Everglades-Santa Marta-Moin-Cartagena.
