
Walmart is ready to build a $ 300 million realization center in North Carolina, which will focus directly on the transportation of large items such as patio furniture and lawn, as soon as the next day, North Carolina Governor Josh Stein announced on Tuesday.
According to a news release from the Ministry of Commerce, the center will be located in Kings Mount Kings, near Gastonia, and is expected to open in 2027.
“Since our e -commerce is still growing, this new realization will play an important role in helping us serve our customers faster,” said Karisa Sprag, Vice President of Walmart USA.
NYSE: WMT has more than 214 stories and Sam’s clubs in North Carolina as well as seven distribution centers. The new facility is expected to use 300 people.
The Bureau of Commerce provides $ 4 million for job development over 12 years, which is conditional on the company that creates the number of promised jobs.
According to its latest annual report, Walmart has allocated 29 e -commerce realization centers.
Next year, a fifth -generation “next -generation” center is set to open the next generation in California to make online orders on the West Coast.
