Donald Trump’s latest executive guidelines issued on Friday, hoping that if the country of origin has signed a mutual trade deal with the United States, some US imports may be exempt from tariffs.
This includes about 45 categories, which are mainly commodities that the executive instructions say, “cannot be grown, extracted or produced naturally in the United States” – such as gold, nickel, graphite, and a wide range of chemical compounds, etc.
