Hexagonal agility has guaranteed the main order to supply compressed natural gas fuel systems (CNG) for 100 heavy trucks run by Trayecto, the largest Mexican transport company. This transaction is a major leap in the clean transport for Latin America. Natural gas vehicles have the largest CNG refueling system in aircraft and the New Cummins X15N natural gas engine.
This deployment was made possible by collaborating with Kenworth Mexicana. This version describes this command as a major turning point and provides the fleet with a suitable diesel alternative for heavy and long distances.
“This is a watershed moment for clean transportation in the area, where fleets have long access to a suitable diesel alternative for heavy and long -distance programs,” said Eric Bipus, a senior hexagonal business manager.
These trucks are available to one of the two large CNG fuel systems, which make it possible to drive more than 1,000 kilometers depending on the load and land. For Traayecto, this widespread capability to maintain operational efficiency is crucial, while significantly reduces greenhouse gas emissions in their fleet operations.
When it comes to renewable natural gas (RNG), these systems pair with the Cummins X15N engine can achieve negative carbon operation.
The Trayecto order is looking for growing rise for hexagonal agility, including a recent statement from the leading manufacturer of US consumer goods for 60 natural gas trucks and the pre -deployment order from UPS in 2024.
Tayecto works more than 5,300 trucks and 11,000 trailers with more than 10,500 logistics specialists and offers a comprehensive portfolio of transportation services throughout Mexico and international.
