FedEx Corp. Wednesday, Vishal Talavar, who until recently was the senior director of technology growth, was effective on August 15 as Digital Digital and Information and President FedEx Dataworks.
The hiring came on the same day that Freightwaves released an interpretation of the Parcel Guru Satish Jindel industry, which Dataworks did not make money because potential customers do not consider it a neutral data analysis provider to optimize e -commerce logistics. He advised FedEx (NYSE: FDX) to sell Dataworks to a realized, electronic or other party that can gain the trust of interested users and completely restrain its promise.
Talvar was in Accenture for nearly 11 years. Prior to that, he held executive and management positions in Wipro, Dell Services and IBM. For nearly two years, he has been heavily involved in FedEx’s digital transformation efforts through his consulting work.
FedEx said Talwar has a profound expertise in data science, digital infrastructure and the transformation of the company. In his roles, he helped jobs to use leverage technologies to increase business resistance and accelerate digital reception.
Talwar will be responsible for developing digital solutions with data and artificial intelligence, advanced technology, strong organizational architecture and comprehensive cyber security measures.

Krishnasamy has been a consultant until October 31 in Federal Express. According to a Federal Express Securities case this week, his separation contract includes $ 3.3 million in cash and stock acceleration. As part of the transaction, he agreed not to seek employment again at FedEx.
